Design and Evaluation of imaging and non-imaging optical systems using ray tracing programs in all areas of illumination, sensors and data transmission. Simulation-based optimization and tolerance analysis support the development of new and improvement of existing systems.

The simulations can be supported by measurement of the optical properties of light sources, scattering behavior of surfaces or material properties.
